Status: WIP
Warnings: Cursing/profanity, mpreg, slash, threesome, alive!George, notnice!Winona, OC’s (mostly there as filler characters, none are REALLY important), an insane amount of contractions that will probably decrease once the Vulcans are on the scene (a little Vulcan humor there :D), others to be determined

Author’s Note: So, nightshadow-t2 I would like to apologize. I said that this chapter would be about the landing but it is actually about the journey to the landing. However, there is Spock and Jimmy cuteness!

AN 2: I was typing out ‘spoke’ but wrote ‘spock’ instead XD

George woke slowly for the first time in what felt like years but was really only several weeks. He opened his eyes and saw a room that was not familiar. George sat up and paused as his surroundings clicked. He was on a transport ship with his family and Amanda’s family. He hadn’t slept in weeks because he was a single parent of a newborn who also happened to have a very active toddler.

George followed the sound of voices into what was serving as a living room. The compartment had two large bedrooms (one for the Kirk family and one for the Amanda family - that’s was George was calling them anyway. Stupid Vulcans for having Vulcan last names that are unpronounceable to humans), a ‘living room’, a kitchen, and two full bathrooms. Being the guests of the ambassador to Earth had its perks.

“Now, you two please be a little more quiet? Sammy’s daddy is sleeping.” Amanda was knitting - when did she start knitting? - on the couch while Sam and Sybok were playing a complex version of Go Fish on the floor in front of Amanda. Sarek was seated at the desk in the corner of the room farthest from the Amanda families’ rooms but closest to where Amanda was on the couch. Spock and Jimmy were ‘laying peacefully side by side’ - Sarek refused to call it cuddling and had forbidden anyone from calling Spock and Jimmy’s behavior cuddling even though Amanda and George so agreed that they were cuddling.

“Ok Mrs. Sybok’s Mommy. We’re sorry. We’ll be quiet.” Sam was quick to quick to apologize and quicker to forget what he said - naturally as soon as he won the game, “YEAH!” Sam jumped up and down and ran in circles. Worse, he gently pulled Sybok by his cloth-covered wrist with him in his manic circles.

Privately, George thought Sybok’s look of stunned disbelief was hysterical. He was about to announce himself when Amanda said very calmly, “Sam.”

Sam jerked to a stop and it was his turn to look shocked although his shock was less to do with human foolishness and more to do with the fact that Amanda’s face was without a smile. It was probably the first time that had happened in Sam’s presence. Amanda was a gentle, easy to get along with, and always in good humor person but George remembered getting drunk in high school and flunking a final and almost having to repeat a grade. The expression on her face now remarkably resembled the expression that had been on her face then.

“Sam, I told you to be quiet and you did not listen. Time out in the corner for five minutes.”

“Do you really want to finish that sentence?”

“No.” Sam let go of Sybok and headed to the corner. Sarek had not looked up from his work - although George had a feeling that Sarek was carefully monitoring the situation in the room and Amanda focused her attention on her knitting. In fact, she was so engrossed that she ‘missed’ Sybok ‘sneaking’ over to sit with Sam in the corner. Neither child spoke but it seemed that the comfort of someone being there with him allowed Sam to sit quietly through his punishment.

George crept past Amanda - who glanced up at him when he went by and held her finger to her lips - over to where the babies were laying. Jimmy was curled up on his side facing Spock and Spock was on his side facing Jimmy. Their hands were just touching. George smiled. t was extremely cute and George wished he had a camera. He looked up to see Sarek, turned slightly, watching him. Sarek nodded to him, to which he nodded back, and turned back to his work.

George sat down next to Amanda in time for Sybok to announce that five minutes had passed and Sam was now allowed to vacate the ‘corner’ - the first time that George had sent Sam to the corner, Sybok had asked why a place of punishment was simply called a ‘corner’. George and Amanda’s answers had apparently been unsatisfactory because Sybok had turned to his biological father. Sarek had explained that calling the area a ‘corner’ was less threatening and therefore, less likely to emotionally scar the individual. Sybok had nodded and went to sit with Sam.

Sam had stood, hugged Sybok for sitting with him - George thought it was adorable that Sybok got all stiff but allowed the hug and then he blamed the hormones for seeing ‘cute’ and ‘adorable’ things everywhere - and then he had turned to the couch. Sam saw his father and immediately ran forward, “Daddy!”

George raised his eyebrow at Sam - George swore that he heard Amanda giggle but she denied it to this day - who promptly stopped and apologized to Amanda, “Sorry Mrs. Sybok’s Mommy. I should had listened to you. But,” here he grinned, “Now that Daddy is awake, we can all play Go Fish!”
